Today, on the opening day of the 60th season of Fort Wayne Komets hockey First Pitch Sportscards and the Komets unveil the Komets Goalies Legends set. This set which has a limited print run of 250 features 16 Komets goaltending greats including several players with NHL experience. It also proudly features a card of 1-0 Joe Franke whose legendary performance at age 42 was featured on Larry King Live and ESPN.
This marks the fourth year First Pitch Sportscards is the proud exclusive sponsor of all Komets trading cards and we are thrilled to be associated with this set.

The night Joe pulled off that feat was the second greatest night I have ever seen in professional hockey live. First being 4 years ago when they beat Port Huron in game 7 of the cup finals in triple overtime.
