Okay, thanks to what I assume was the help of David Campos I have been in contact with one of the top Thomas collectors around. He has opened my mind to a new way of collecting my favorite player of all-time without killing my Thomas PC and still leaving me room to make the money I need. I will not be selling my Frank Thomas PC completely after all. I will be selling a chunk of it.

I have decided the best way to do this would be to collect only his White Sox cards and only Super Collect the early years before the 1/1 came into existence. The years 1987-1996. I am going to tackle these a year at a time. I will keep all my Sox versions of him but will likely move all my Oakland and Toronto versions. I will also likely not collect any 1/1 versions either. Those are partially where the money is. Its not IMPOSSIBLE to acquire every pre-1997 card and shooting for something impossible like every card in existence seems silly and was a large reason I had lost most of my passion for collecting Thomas. With this in mind I am starting with these 2 cards to go after. Any leads or anything is greatly appreciated.

These are the pre-1995 cards I need. I have some of them but I don't have them logged and I will edit as I go.

I will try to start getting the Oakland and Toronto cards marked FS/FT soon. Thanks!
Are any of those OAK or TOR Thomas cards autos? Ive always wanted an auto of his. Id prefer a CHI too but I am not picky as I dont really have a collection of him.

Glad you found a workaround for your PC and dont have to move all of it. I assume you will be moving these non sox cards to the super collector yet to be named right?
Why do player collectors sometimes choose to pass on 1/1s? To me, picking up those cards is what separates your collection from the average joe's.

No actually he only collects certain things after 1996 as well. I should have some good stuff available. He does have dibs though.

I never chose to pass before man. They tend to make collecting every card impossible and that may be why. I only am going to pass those because they are the most likely cards to help bring the money in. I have to find a middle ground here and if it means collecting all cards pre-1997 and just select cards after then I have to do that.

To me it beats losing it all.

As for the other ???, yes some are autos.

Grats Derek, glad you found a way to keep your Thomas PC!!!!
At least some of it.
Damn no patches for me lol
i decided the same thing with Dave Justice cards in a Braves uni... sadly, there are more cards of him not in a braves uni than there are of him in one... weird...

I have patches that are not Sox cards. I would love to trade this for cards off the needs list though preferably.

Guys I am sure if you dig in those old boxes some of these are laying around.
