Received in the mail a Thornton 10-11 Cup Foundations Jersey /25 today, serial numbered 01/25, so that makes 10 serial #'d 01/xx's i have now so i thought id have a show and tell to celebrate!

It might not seem like much to other people, but to even get to 10 in this attempt of a PC has been a big achievement for me haha. I thought i'd be lucky to get 5 by the end of the year, and ive got 10, and theres still 3 months to go! So if anyone has any... please let me know Thanks for the look! Comments appreciated.

Nice job indeed Steve, I was thinking the same thing about getting Canucks 1/1's and which is typically what you are looking for here and to have 10 is a huge deal! Well done

Thanks! They arent exactly a true 1/1, but theres only 1 of them numbered like that i guess! Haha hadnt thought about it that way. It was more of a challenge just to see how many i could get with the same number and i went with #1. Greg on here looks for #24 but just with habs cards, his collection of them is AMAZING, puts mine to shame haha.

Yeah I have seen some of his collection it is insane for sure, I don't know how he does it, must have a nice budget i would say lol. Waiting on so much mail and i shall show off what i've been spending all my cash on these days lol

Great collection. Did you decide on the #1 since he was the first pick of his draft year? Congrats.

Cheers guys. Haha funnily enough no it wasnt the #1 draft pick thing, although thats as good a reason as any! I'd like to be able to say i thought it through that much. The first one of these i actually got was the SPA Essentials 0001/1999 and i thought, seriously what are the odds? More idle curiosity than anything else, and so far other than that one the closest ive gotten is /100 haha. I figured i could have gone with #19, but prob too many people doing that one, and ended up just going with #1 because of the 0001 i got, and theres probably just as many people doing #1 anyway haha. Oh well it keeps me on my toes.

I like the idea. If i ever see any serial numbered "1" i know who to contact! Good luck.

Very impressive, tracking down those 1/x can't be an easy goal. That's a big PC milestone by any measure. I also happen to really like the first card made in a serial...just something about having the first one stamped.

Great idea and a wonderful collection, look forward to seeing more.
