Hey All,

I was just curious about Upper Decks Replacement Program.
The Scripted Swatches - Jordan Eberle that I received from "The Cup" had noticeable damage on the side.

What is the turnaround time typically for replacements?
Do you have any say in what the replacement is?

I really am not looking forward to going through this process on a card if I cant get something at least similar back.
Have a scan?

Extremely obvious in light. Hard to take a picture of.
call to see if they can replace it with the same card

if not... then keep it!!
That looks like a regular the cup damage. Something expected. Value wouldn't drop on this baby. Just keep it, you will still get max value.

Upper Deck is always great at coming through with replacements so if you decide it needs to be sent in then you should contact them. As upper deck has improved a ton from 05-06 the cup on quality control. That is no longer considered regular damage associated with thick cards.
there's a difference between replacements and damage replacements. UD says its typical turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. in my experience, if they can replace the damaged card, they will. there's no guarantee you will get the same patch or jersey swatch back though. if you have a nice patch, that's definitely something to consider as you might get something not as stunning back. on the other hand, if your swatch is a 1-clr, there's no harm.

if they can't replace the damaged card, they usually send the damaged card back to you with a little something extra on the side (ie. unopened packs, another card with the pictured player or team, etc...) and a sorry note.
thanks for the info! didn't know that about the UD

also the dual King and Dury shield is on the bay for you...
