...answering my own question in the thread subject - in all likelihood NO.
A 1999 Collector's Edge Fury Galvanized parallel set was added to the OPG recently. Supposedly this features samples cards of all the non-rookie cards to that parallel version of the base set. I for one do not believe this particular sample parallel set even exists.
However, the 1999 Collector's Edge Advantage Galvanized Sample parallel set DOES exist for all the non-rookie cards in the set. I actually own one myself and every card is stamped with "PROMO" on the back where the numbering would ordinarily be located. Perhaps this was just a simple error committed by the one updating the OPG.
I just wanted you player/team collectors out there to be aware of this.
