Is it against TOS to link a Description of an item from another site.
For example.

If I wanted to list a TV. And wanted to use the Description from another website.

AND IF not.
What is the [] code.

Thanks
Why not just copy and paste the description?
Understandable. What I usually do is write my own description and then below have the copy and pasted description.

Got my answer from a little surfing Smile
Personally, I would never link away from eBay. You want your customers to stay focused on your merchandise. Why take them away from your auction to a description on a different site where they could possibly find an item they want more than yours?

Copy and paste the information in your auction and keep your buyer focused on YOUR istuff.
Thanks ADB.
I had tried to delete this thread as I got my answer. Hence one of my posts was taken off lol

But if that site is selling said TV for $1500 and the one you are selling is cheaper... lol

I get what you are saying don't get me wrong...
I just don't link stock images/Descriptions and stuff like that Big Grin
I have never and WILL never use a stock photo in my listings........
