What are the new search limits?
If you get locked out of searches this is why (Q&A from Beckett).

What are the new search limits?
To protect our valuable Checklist and Online Price Guide data, we are implementing new monthly limits on the number of searches users can perform based on their subscription level:
- Non-subscribers will have a limited number of searches per month.
- Subscribers at the Organize, Single Sport, Vintage OPG, Certified Autograph OPG, and Market Data Report levels will have a higher limit, 5X that of non-subscribers.
- Total Access OPG subscribers will have the highest search limit, 10X that of non-subscribers, and 2X that of Organize, Single Sport, Vintage, Certified Autographs, and Market Data Report subscribers.
- Enterprise Level OPG packages will be available for users who require increased search capacity, priority support, and customized solutions. Interested customers can contact EnterpriseOPG@Beckett.com.

Why are you implementing these limits?
We are committed to continually improving our services to provide our users with the best possible experience. As part of this commitment, we regularly review and optimize our features to ensure they align with our goals of data integrity, user privacy, and fair usage. This decision was made to enhance the security and integrity of our proprietary data, which is at the core of the value we provide to users.

Why aren't you sharing the exact limits?
While we can't disclose the precise search limits, we want to ensure the limits are reasonable for each user's needs based on their subscription level. The limits scale up appropriately from non-subscribers to our highest Enterprise level tier.

How will I know how many searches I have left?
We will provide a progress bar in the user’s My Account section that will display their used searches, a percentage of the total remaining for the month.

When will these limits go into effect?
The new search limits will tentatively go into effect on Thursday, July 11th.

How are searches counted?
Any search performed in the search bar on Beckett.com or in Organize counts towards the monthly limit. The search limits do not apply to searches done on The Beckett Marketplace. These types of searches remain unlimited.

What happens if I exceed the limit?
Once you hit the monthly search limit, you will be unable to perform additional searches until the next month's cycle begins. Search limits automatically reset on the first of the month, and do not carry over from month to month.

Can I increase my search limit?
Yes, upgrading to a higher OPG subscription tier will increase your monthly search allowance.

Do unsuccessful/bad searches count?
No, if the search returns zero results, this will not count towards a user’s search limit for the month.

Are there limits on browsing pricing data after searching?
No, these limits only apply to conducting new searches.
