Released as a 190-card set, 2000 Collector's Edge Supreme is composed of 150 veteran cards and 40 short-printed rookie cards, which were sequentially numbered to 2000. Several of the rookies were released as redemption cards with an expiration date of 3/31/2001. Supreme was packaged in 24-pack boxes containing 10 cards each, and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99. Card number 151 was initially intended to be LaVar Arrington who was pulled from production and, reportedly, never released in packs. Instead it was replaced by a redemption card that ultimately turned out to be redeemable for Sylvester Morris. However, a number of copies of the Arrington card made their way into the secondary market years later. Also, card #171 Bill Burke (and the HoloGold parallel) surfaced after Edge ceased football card operations. [Collapse]
