This premier edition of Classic Images features 125 standard-size cards. Production was limited to 1,994 cases. The full-bleed color action photos on the fronts have a metallic sheen to them. The player's name is printed toward the bottom, with the "Images" logo between the first and last name. A second black-and-white photo appears on the back, along with the player's name, position, team name and statistics, as well as a small color headshot on the left side. The cards were sold six cards to a pack, with no jumbo or periodical versions produced. Rookie Cards in this set include Derrick Alexander, Isaac Bruce, Trent Dilfer, Marshall Faulk, William Floyd, Greg Hill, Charles Johnson, Byron Bam Morris, Errict Rhett, Darnay Scott and Heath Shuler. The Emmitt Smith (one per box chiptopper) and Drew Bledsoe Throwbacks (random insert in packs) NFL Experience preview cards were included in the Images product.
