This set was issued in a playing card deck box. The cards have rounded corners and the typical playing card format. The fronts feature black-and-white posed photos of helmetless players in their uniforms. A white border surrounds each picture and contains the card number and suit designation in the upper left corner and again, but inverted, in the lower right. The player's name and position initials appear just beneath the photo. The orange backs all feature the "Fighting Gators" logo. The cards were also produced with a blue cardback variation. The year of issue, 1973, is included on the schedule card. Since the set is similar to a playing card set, it is arranged just like a card deck and checklisted below accordingly. In the checklist below C means Clubs, D means Diamonds, H means Hearts, S means Spades and JK means Joker. Numbers are assigned to Aces (1), Jacks (11), Queens (12), and Kings (13).
