Diamond Match Co. produced their first football matchbook set in 1933. Many covers appear with both a green and pink background on the text area surrounded by a silver border, although a few cards appear in only one color. This set is clearly the most difficult to complete of all the football Diamond Matchbooks. Each cover measures approximately 1 1/2" by 4 1/2" (when completely folded out) and is priced below as unfolded with the matches removed. Complete covers with matches intact sometimes sell for as much as 1-1/2 ttimes the prices listed below. Although the covers are not numbered, we've assigned numbers alphabetically with the white bordered All-American Seal leading off and the color variations listed with a G (green) and P (pink) suffix. Several covers are thought to be much more difficult to find; we've labeled those as SP below. [Collapse]
