2002 SAGE Pangos Sheets

Given away at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, on January 4th 2003, this four sheet set features the first card of high school sensation LeBron James. Given away at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, on January 4th 2003, this four sheet set features the first card of high school sensation LeBron James. Each sheet features eight players and the SAGE logo coupled with the Pangos Dream Classic 2003 logo. Two versions of these sheets were printed, a Green version and a Gold version. The Green version features a green background with with gold trim around the player's school and position, and around the Pangos logo on the card front. The Gold version features a shift where the background is gold, and the green appears around the school/position box and the logo. 5000 green sheets were produced, 1250 of each, for handing out at the game, and 500 gold, 125 of each, were produced for handing out to the players the sheets featured. LeBron James and Wesley Washington received some sheets, but through a mix-up, the rest were never given to the players. SAGE did, however, give these remaining sheets out with product press releases to dealers and sports card distributors. [Collapse]
