Issued in November 2002, UD Authentics boasts a 132-card set divided up into 90 veteran player cards and 42 rookie player cards. The base cards borrow their design from 1989 Upper Deck Basebaeball. Cards have full color player photos with white borders and the trademark Upper Deck hologram on the back of the card. Rookie players have red borders instead of the base white and are serially numbered as follows: Cards 91-123 are numbered to 799, and cards 124-132 are numbered to 499. Also inserted within the product were Upper Deck Authenticated redemption cards which were good for autographs, photos, jerseys and other memorabilia-inserted at the rate of one in 216. As with all of UD's new exchange cards, these items were redeemable via UD's website as an e-redemption. UD Authentics was packaged in 18-pack boxes where packs contained five cards and carried a suggested retail price of $6.99. [Collapse]
