2001-02 Upper Deck Legends

This 132-card base set was issued in July of 2001. The set includes 90 veteran and retired legends and 42 draft pick redemption cards. The redemptions were available starting in September 2001. This 132-card base set was issued in July of 2001. The set includes 90 veteran and retired legends and 42 draft pick redemption cards. The redemptions were available starting in September 2001. The standard sized set features both black and white and color photography for players. The left side of the card is white and fades into a gray basketball background then the picture, while the right side has a colored border and the players name. All cards have silver foil highhlights are and rookies break down as follows: card numbers 91-110 are sequentailly numberd to 3250, card numbers 111-125 are sequentially numbered to 1999, and card numbers 126-132 are sequentailly numbered to 500. Legends was packaged in 25-pack boxes with packs containing five cards and carrying a suggested retail price of $4.99. Please notice that these cards read 2000-01 in foil along the top; however, were issued after the 2001 draft with that rookie class inserted as redemptions so is listed with the rest of the 2001-02 sets.
