Released in mid-May 2002, this 240-card set is divided up into 90 veteran cards and 50 different rookies with three versions of each card. The rookie "A" version features a portrait style photo and the word "Portrait" along the right edge of the card, the rookie "B" version features and action photo and the word "Action" along the right edge of the card, and the rookie "C" version features an action photo and the words "Hight Performance" along the right edge of the card. The base design places full color player action photos against a colored background that fades to white at both the top and the bottom of the card. Player names are in big letters and silver foil towards the bottom of the card. The rookie print runs are divided up as follows: Card numbers 91-120 are sequentially numberd to 500 on each version with a combined print run of 1500, card numbers 121-134 are sequentially numbered to 375 on each version for a combined print run of 1125, and card numbers 135-140 are sequentially numbered to 250 on each version for a combined print run of 750. Flight Team was packaged in 14 pack boxes with four cards per pack and carried a suggested retail price of $6.99. Also, a PSA graded version of a rookie card was included as a box-topper in each box.
