A short player history is the focus of this nine-card standard-size set that features both established players and up-and-coming rookies. The cards were randomly inserted in all series one packs at a rate of one in nine regular packs and one in six jumbo packs. They were also inserted one per special series one Wal-Mart retail pack. Borderless fronts feature an extreme color close-up of the player's face set against an etched foil background. The player's first name is stamped in gold foil script against his last name which is printed larger and in full block letters. The SkyBox logo and "Close-Up" are stamped in gold foil at the bottom left of the card. The backs feature a stretched one-color player photo on the right side of the card. The left side has the player's name, team logo and a short player history printed in black type. The set is sequenced in alphabetical order by team. [Collapse]
