The 1993 Upper Deck McDonald's French set consists of 40 standard-size cards. The three-card foil packs were made available to McDonald's customers in France only, during September and October of 1993. The packs were distributed free to customers who purchased a "Menu Basket Meal", consisting of a Big Mac, large fries and a Coke, and valued at 5.50. Two million packs were produced, with 28,000 randomly inserted cards carrying the words "Slam Dunk". This insert entitled the customer to win an official Spalding basketball. One unique feature of this set is the wrappers were printed in French, while the cards were printed in both French and English. The front design was the same as the regular issue 1991-92 Upper Deck set, with color player photos, bordered below and on the right by a hardwood basketball court design. The player's name appears beneath the photo, while the team name is printed vertically along the right side. The team logo appears in the lower right corner. The backs display a second color player photo as well as biographical and statistical information. [Collapse]
