The 1992 Classic Basketball Draft Picks set contains 100 standard-size cards, including all 54 drafted players. The set features the first nationally distributed 1992 trading card of NBA first overall pick Shaquille O'Neal as well as the only draft cards of second pick Alonzo Mourning and fourth pick Jimmy Jackson. The set also includes a Flashback (95-98) subset. The fronts feature glossy color action photos bordered in white. The player's name appears in a silver stripe beneath the picture, which intersects the Classic logo at the lower left corner. The backs have a second color player photo and present biographical information, complete college statistics, and a scouting report. The cards are numbered on the back. Cards 61-100 were only available in 15-card foil packs as the blister sets contained only cards 1-60. The production run was reportedly 28,000 ten-box cases and 125,000 60-card factory blister sets. The Laettner Bonus Card was inserted one per blister set. Also listed at the end of the set is a Shaquille O'Neal autographed card numbered to 2500.
