Produced by TRG Inc., these two standard-size cards were issued in consecutive years. Card number 1, released in 1991, was designed by David Robinson and features a posed color photo of Robinson with his saxophone. A signed basketball is in the upper left corner and five stars in a circle pattern are in the upper right. Navy blue border stripes at the bottom contain Robinson's nickname "The Admiral," and the words "Inaugural" and "Leisure Series No. 1 '91" in white lettering. The back is beige and displays a close-up photo and player information. Card number 2, released in 1992, features a full-bleed photo of Robinson balancing a basketball on one finger. The words "The Admiral Leisure Series No. 2 '92" are printed in an arch at the top. The back shows a blue tinted photo of Robinson playing golf and includes biography and player information with a facsimile autograph at the bottom. The cards are numbered on the front. These cards were offered directly by The Robinson Group to members of the David Robinson Fan Club, as well as via a mail-in order form included in Strand's "The Story of a Game" video. Reportedly 50,000 complete Leisure Series sets were produced. [Collapse]
