This 40-card set was produced by Collegiate Collection and features the men's and women's basketball teams. This 40-card set was produced by Collegiate Collection and features the men's and women's basketball teams. The standard size (2 1/2" by 3 1/2") cards feature on the fronts a mix of posed or action color player photos (with rounded corners), with a thin black border on royal blue background. While the school name appears above the picture in yellow lettering, the player's name appears in black lettering in a yellow stripe below the picture. The UCLA and Collegiate Collection logos at the top complete the card face. The horizontally oriented backs provide brief biography, statistics, and the card number, all within a royal blue border. Due to a production error, the Keith Owens card incorrectly depicts Destah Owens. A coupon was included in the set to exchange for a free replacement card. Note that the back of the corrected card differs from the regular issue in format and color. Men's basketball is represented by cards 1-15 and 35-39; women's basketball by cards 16-34. The set features first cards of Tracy Murray and Ed O'Bannon in addtion to an early Don MacLean card. [Collapse]
