This seven-card set was sponsored by Burger King to commemorate the inaugural season of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The cards were issued with a (9" by 12") Player Cards Collector Set, which included on the inside a 1989-90 game schedule and slots to hold the cards. The standard size cards feature on the fronts color action player photos, with dark blue borders on white card stock. A banner reading "Inaugural Season" overlays the top of the picture. The team name and logo at the top and player identification below the picture round out the card face. The backs have biographical and statistical information, with the team logo and a blue stripe (with player's name in white) appearing at the top of the cards. The cards are unnumbered. Brad Lohaus is considered somewhat tougher to find since he was supposedly pulled from the set and replaced by Randy Breuer during the promotion. The set features the first professional card of Jerome "Pooh" Richardson. [Collapse]
