On June 18, 2005 the first 1000 attendees received a free set of 2005 Maverick Collector Baseball Cards compliments of MDAQMD. These sets can only be distinguished from the regular Grandstand issue by the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District logo on back of each card. There is also a "Clean Air Tip" on every card back.
