2003 Fleer Tradition

This 485 card set, deisgned in the style of 1963 Fleer, was released in January, 2003. These cards were issued in 10 card packs which were packed 40 packs to a box and 20 boxes to a case with an SRP of $1.49 per pack. This 485 card set, deisgned in the style of 1963 Fleer, was released in January, 2003. These cards were issued in 10 card packs which were packed 40 packs to a box and 20 boxes to a case with an SRP of $1.49 per pack. The following subsets are part of the set: Cards numbered 1 through 30 are Team Leader cards, cards number 67 through 85 are Missing Link (featuring players active but not on Fleer cards in 1963) cards, cards number 417 rhrough 425 are Award Winner cards, cards number 426 through 460 are Prospect cards and cards numbered 461 through 485 are Banner Season cards. All cards numbered 1 through 100 were short printed and inserted at an rate of one per hobby pack and one per 12 retail pack. In addition, retail boxes had a special Barry Bonds pin as a box topper and a Derek Jeter promo card was issued a few weeks before this product became live so media and dealers could see what this set look like.
