2003 Fleer Showcase

This 145-card set was issued in two separtate series. The primary Showcase product was released in March, 2003. Cards 1-95 are active ballplayers and 96- 105 feature retired players. This 145-card set was issued in two separtate series. The primary Showcase product was released in March, 2003. Cards 1-95 are active ballplayers and 96- 105 feature retired players. Cards 106 through 135 are a subset entitled Showcasing Talent of which features a selection of top prospects. Three pack types were produced for this product (Jersey, Leather and Lumber) eight of each were placed into the 24-ct sealed boxes. Each pack type contained a selection of commonly available cards plus other inserts and subsets of which were exclusive to the theme. Cards 136-145 were randomly seeded within Fleer Rookies and Greats packs of which was distributed in December, 2003.
