Topps got eighteen major league stars to sign Riddell mini-helmets. The helmets were inserted exclusively into hobby boxes at a rate of one per box. Each helmet is serial-numbered to either 225 (for group A), 475 (for group B) or 975 (for group C) on the outside back portion of the item. Oddly, the wrappers and boxes contradict one another when referencing the grouping manner these helmets were distributed in. Our checklist follows the groups detailed on the boxes (groups A-C). Please note, the wrapper confusingly references groups A-D in an effort to intermingle the scarce gold Autograph Mini-Helmets (of which feature gold ink signatures and are each serial-numbered to 25). For ease of use, we've transferred the wrapper stated odds to match the box. For example, the box lists Todd Helton and Luis Gonzalez as group A yet the wrapper references them as group B. In this instance, we've listed the wrapper odds for Helton and Gonzalez as group A to match up the checklist provided on the box. [Collapse]
