Randomly inserted into packs, this 10-card insert features swatches of actual game-used bat, as well as, an autograph from the depicted player. Card backs carry a "BK" prefix. Each card is individually serial numbered to 50. Exchange cards with a redemption deadline of May 1st, 2003 were seeded into packs for Barry Bonds, Troy Glaus, Todd Helton and Ivan Rodriguez. Unfortunately, Donruss was not able to get Barry Bonds to sign his Bat King cards - thus a non-autographed version of Bonds' card was sent out to collectors. Bonds did, however, agree to sign 100 of his vintage Donruss cards (1988 - 25 copies, 1989 -25 copies and 1990 - 50 copies). These 100 cards were stamped with a "Recollection Collection" logo and sent out to collectors - along with the unsigned Bonds Bat King card. [Collapse]
