These cards are exact parallels to the standard 2001 Donruss Signature cards except for the foil "2002 Hawaii Trade Conference" logo stamped on front. In addition, each card was serial numbered on front as follows: cards 1-110 - "X/25" and cards 112-306 - "X/10". Though numbered up to card 306, the set is actually composed of a skip-numbered selection of 227 different subjects. The cards were distributed in cello-wrapped sealed black boxes and given at a rate of one per attendee at the 2002 Hawaii Trade Conference Meet the Industry event at the Playoff presentation area. Attendees actually received either a football box (containing Playoff Contenders cards) or one of these baseball boxes. Each baseball box contained several basic cards plus one autograph card.
