Issued one per Topps Subway Series factory set, these cards featured the player photo next to an New York City subway token. The token embedded in the card were used by the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) in approximately 1953. These cards became very heavily sought after soon after release and have continued to be popular for their unique design.
