1998 Flair Showcase Ripken Sample Strip

This four-card unperforated strip was distributed to dealers and hobby media a few months prior to the release of 1998 Flair Showcase. The strip contains parallel versions of four different Cal Ripken cards later issued in packs. The cards on this promotional strip are identical to the standard Ripken Flair Showcase cards except for the text "PROMOTIONAL SAMPLE" written diagonally across the front and back.
