These four standard-size promo cards were issued to preview the innovative design of the 1993 Classic/Best Minor League Gold set. The fronts feature glossy color player photos tilted slightly to the right so that the picture's corners extend off the card edges. The color of the front border varies from card to card. The player's name and team name are printed in gold foil lettering and the oversized first letter of the player's name is scripted. The backs have a larger version of the player's name in gold foil and display two smaller player photos, biography and in a color-coded bar statistics. The cards are marked as promos by the disclaimer "For Promotional Use Only" in gold foil immediately above the statistics. The cards are unnumbered and checklisted below in alphabetical order.
