This 110-card standard-size set includes at least ten top players from each of the Australian Baseball League's eight national teams. The set was sold in nine-card foil packs. A seven-card ABL Honours Awards set spotlights Australians champions who received coveted awards. A 1993 Team of Champions card commemorates the great achievement of the Melbourne Monarchs. Also a randomly-packed redemption card entitled the holder to trade for "Best of Both Worlds" cards, which capture one of two players who participates at the top level of the U.S. Major Leagues and the ABL. The two selected playes are David Nilsson and Mark Ettles. Each "Best of Both Worlds" card is accompanied by a numbered "certificate of authenticity" card. Some redemption cards bear a gold seal and these cards entitle the collector to receive an autographed "Best of Both Worlds" card. Just 500 of each autographed card were issued. Five hundred of these cases were released in Australia, while an equal number were marked for the U.S. The fronts feature color action player photos inside white borders. Team color-coded stripes on the left and below edge the picture and carry the player's name, position and team name. Below a second color closeup photo, the backs present player profile and career statistics.
