This 22-card standard-sized set was issued by Leaf to preview the design of the 1992 Leaf Studio series. A color posed player photo has been cut out and superimposed against the background of a black and white action shot of the player. These pictures are framed in black on a gold card face. The player's name and team name appear in the bottom gold border. On a white panel bordered in gold, the backs feature player information under five headings (Personal, Career, Loves to face, Hates to face, and Up Close). The cards are numbered on the back. These Preview cards were distributed on a limited basis to members of the Donruss Dealer Network to show them the new Studio design, and are among the tougher promos to obtain from the 1990s. Unlike the 1991 set of the same name, the 1992 set was not inserted in 1992 Donruss factory sets.
