These six standard-size cards were one of two insert subsets (depicting career highlights of Tom Seaver) randomly packed in 1992 Pacific Tom Seaver 12-card foil packs. The two insert sets are numbered the same, the primary physical difference being a white border or a gold foil border on the card front. Only 3,000 of each non-gold card were produced and, as an added bonus, 1,000 of card number 1 were autographed by Seaver. According to Pacific, 10,000 of each gold card were produced. However, it seems like the numbers reported by Pacific were actually transposed when the cards were issued. There seem to be more non-gold (White) card issued than Gold cards. The six career highlight cards feature high gloss color action player photos on their fronts edged by a color stripe on the left and framed by a white (or gold) outer border. The "Tom Terrific" logo overlays the stripe at the lower left corner. The backs of the gold foil insert cards are identical to those of the regular inserts and are distinguished only by their non-glossy finish.
