Several gold-foil edition black and white Conlon Collection standard-size cards were released to preview the 1993 Conlon Collection. The factory set cases distributed through hobby dealers also included two additional cards (667 and 730) as a bonus (roughly a dozen of each per case), with a stated production run of 20,000 for each card. Card 1000G, of which 100,000 were produced, was inserted in the 65-card jumbo packs sold only at Toys 'R' Us. Likewise, 100,000 of card 934G were produced and inserted into packs sold only at Eckerd's Drugs. The cards have the same design typical of other Conlon issues, only that the vintage black and white player photos are framed in gold foil. [Collapse]
