1988 Grenada Baseball Stamps

These stamps, featuring active major league stars as well as great retired players were issued by the Island of Grenada. Grenada, had previously gained recognition earlier in the decade as an island which had been invaded by U.S. forces. The stamps have both a posed and action shot along with the value of the stamp on the front. As the stamps are meant to be used postally, the backs are blank except for gum which can be attached to envelopes.
