1987 MSA Iced Tea Discs

A set of 20 "Baseball Super Star" discs was produced in conjunction with the Major League Baseball Players Association and Mike Schechter Associates for various grocery chains. A set of 20 "Baseball Super Star" discs was produced in conjunction with the Major League Baseball Players Association and Mike Schechter Associates for various grocery chains. Sets were issued for Weis Markets, Key Foods, Our Own Tea and many others. The discs were issued as panels of three featuring two players and an offer disc. The discs have a bright yellow border on the front. Discs measure approximately 2 3/4" in diameter. Some dealers have speculated that noted hobby dealer John Broggi made the player selection for this set as well as the other iced tea disc sets. The disc backs contain very sparse personal or statistical information about the player.
