MSA (Michael Schechter Associates) produced this 46-disc set for Thom McAn to promote a specially developed line of boys' and young men's JOX all-turf cleat shoes. MSA (Michael Schechter Associates) produced this 46-disc set for Thom McAn to promote a specially developed line of boys' and young men's JOX all-turf cleat shoes. The give-away consisted of a set of 10 discs with every pair of shoes purchased. The production of the discs was discontinued when a decision was made to replace this line of shoes with a newer one. The discs measure 2 3/4" in diameter. The front design resembles a baseball, with a black and white headshot sandwiched between the two rows of stitching. Four stars appear above the player's picture, and the two ovals created by the stitching are colored yellow, green, red, or mustard. In addition, at least 8 players (Cedeno, Cooper, Cowens, Hargrove, Leonard, Valenzuela, Walker, and Zahn) had their photo and information printed in two different colors. The back of the discs are printed in black on white and have a Thom McAn advertisement. The discs are unnumbered and checklisted below alphabetically according to AL (1-24) and NL players (25-46).
