These 40 standard-size cards feature players of the Montreal Expos. The fronts carry white-bordered color player photos framed by a red line. The player's name and uniform number, along with the Montreal Expos' and Stuart's logo, appear within the broad white margin at the bottom. The white back is also framed by a red line and carries the player's bilingual biography and career highlights. The cards are numbered on the back. The first series of 20 cards was distributed from mid-April through June; the second series was distributed in July and August. After the completion of the promotion, the remainder of the first series cards were released to a few card dealers for distribution to the hobby. This set is distinguished from the previous year by the red border around the picture on the obverse. An album was also available for holding the cards; the album is gray, white, blue, and red and contains two-pocket plastic pages. [Collapse]
