1975-76 Great Plains Greats

This 42-card set measures approximately 2 1/2" by 3 3/4". The set was issued by the Great Plains Sports Collectors Association in conjunction with their annual show. This 42-card set measures approximately 2 1/2" by 3 3/4". The set was issued by the Great Plains Sports Collectors Association in conjunction with their annual show. The first series cards have the photos surrounded by a green border while the second series cards have an orange border. The Lloyd Waner card with a green border is an extra addition to the first series. The card is only available as a single when cut from an uncut sheet. Since it was not issued with the regular set, we are calling it a Short Print. Waner was never distributed since he did not sign a release form. The 1st series was available directly from the producer at time of issue for $4.25. The 2nd series was available from the producer at time of issue for $2.25. 2,000 1st series sets were printed.
