This was a "test set" sold in a plain white wrapper with a sticker attached as a design, a device used by Topps for limited marketing. The cards employ a sharp foreground picture set against an indistinct background, covered by a layer of plastic to produce the "3-D" effect. The checklist below is ordered alphabetically. Test 3D cards of Sam McDowell and Brooks Robinson and were issued before this 12 card set was released. Those cards measures 2 1/4" by 3 1/4" and has the team name on the top but with no player identification. In addition, test cards of Tommy Davis, Rick Monday and John O'Donoghue were issued and recently discovered without either team identification or player identification. [Collapse]
