This set of black and white and color postcards was first issued in 1955 and consists of three diffferent types. Type 1 postcards consist of Washington Senatos only and feature the player's name - Washington Nationals, copyright 1955 - Don Wingfield, Griffith Stadium, Washington, D.C., at the base of the front. Type 1 postcards consist of Washington Senatos only and feature the player's name - Washington Nationals, copyright 1955 - Don Wingfield, Griffith Stadium, Washington, D.C., at the base of the front. The type 2 postcards feature players from many teams and present the player's name on the back down the center of the card. The type 3 postcard is in color and consists of but one card (Killebrew). Multiple player poses of several of the Type 2 postcards exist. Cards 1-9 are Type 1 card, Cards 10-43 are Type 2 and Card 44 is Type 3. [Collapse]
