The 1947 Smith's Clothing set of 25 black and white, numbered cards features players from the Oakland Oaks only and is similar to the Remar Bread set. The backs give brief player biographies and a Smith's ad. The set is on very thin stock paper. The Max Marshall card is quite scarce, while the Gillespie, Hayes and Faria cards are tougher to find. The catalog designation is H801-3A. Cards in this set measure approximately 2" by 3".
