This is more information on stadium pins. Celluoid foxing, cracks, dents, noticeable scratches or rusted metal rims can all reduce the worth of a button or pin. Rusting on the reverse side can sometimes be removed. A missing pin has no effefct on the price. Frequently, the pins were sold with red, white and blue ribbons and or/chains attached to a selection of miniature tin or plastic bats, balls and gloves. The miniature paraphanalia has very little effect on the values as these items are essentially interchangable. If the hanging ties features the same team or player name, this can affect the value of the pin. The pins checklisted below are those in the two larger sizes, close to 2 1/8" in diameter, most are slightly larger or smaller. The Phillies pins are approximately 2 1/4" in diameter, whereas the Yankees and other teams are about 2" in diameter. Again, additions to this checklist is appreciated. And as with the other PM 10 pins, no complete set price is listed. [Collapse]
