This 23-card set of the Philadelphia Phillies measures approximately 6" by 8 1/2" and features black-and-white player photos with white borders. The backs are blank. The cards are unnumbered and checklisted below in alphabetical order. This set is so large as it presumed that the Phillies kept issuing photos during the year as players were shuttling in and out of the majors during World War II.
