These cards were distributed as part of a baseball game produced in 1936. The cards each measure approximately 2 1/4" by 3 1/2" and have rounded corners. The card fronts are all oriented horizontally and show a small black and white photo of the player, his name, position, his team, vital statistics and the game outcome associated with that particular card. The card backs are evenly split between a plain green back with a thin white border or a plain back on a tannish paper stock. Since the cards are unnumbered, they are listed below in alphabetical order. Interestingly there are actually two box sizes. The box, which contained these fifty-two cards, and some other accoutrements to play the game, retailed for fifty cents when issued in 1936. [Collapse]
