Zee-Nut cards were issued over a 28 year period. The cards measure a different size depending on when issued. 1911, 12 and Home Run Kisses have similar sizes. 1913, 14 and 15 have similar sizes. 1916 through 1918 are somewhat similar. 1919 through 1923 are somewhat similar. And 1924 through 1937 is somewhat similar. 1937's came with a coupon attached while 1938 came with a separate coupon. But once the coupon is taken off a 37 it is identical to a 38. Cards were issued one to a box in one of three 5 cent products; ZeeNuts, Rufneck and Home Run Kisses. These cards were made by Collins-McCarthy Candy Co. (And their successors). Most of the cards were marketed within a 100 mile radius of San Francisco. Cards are usually blank backed. Cards have also been seen, however, with printing on both sides. In this set, Included in the 1911 set is a very early card of Buck Weaver. There is also a premium for Roger Peckinpaugh. Cards are priced without the coupon. There is currently an 100 percent premium for most cards if the coupon is attached. Complete set for each Zeenut yearly series is provided although completing almost any year set is a daunting task. Dimensions are provided for each set; however all dimensions are approximate and cards can vary since printing was not as scientific pre-1940 as it is today.
