In 1909 W.W. Smith of Pittsburgh produced a set of Postcards for the 1909 World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. One card is titled "World's Series Souvenir" titled two of a kind featuring the stars of each team, Ty Cobb of the Tigers and Honus Wagner of the Pirates featuring caracitures of the two stars.
