Owner Rob Veres has been in the business of buying and selling collectibles since the ripe old age of 12, and his experience and unyielding commitment to bettering this great hobby is unmatched. From his humble beginnings with two shelves of merchandise in a coin and stamp shop to running a nearly 8,000 sq. ft enterprise with over 20 staff members, simply put, he's seen it all .

Burbanksportscards.com was established in 1996 as a way for our global clientele to enjoy the benefits of our unmatched service and selection without leaving their comforts of home. While it's look has changed and it's selection has soared, the principles are still the same, give the customer as pleasant of an online experience as possible and present them with a selection and pricing structure that their local outlets can't beat.

Here are a few of the things that we're working on that are aimed to please:

A: Vintage overhaul: Quite simply, one of the most labor intense projects we've ever taken on, as we've created a new system that allows us to have cards broken down into anywhere from 4-8 different condition categories and each of those categories is in it's own number order run. Our price point for very low grade cards starts at 15% of book on here and the selection of grades per card as well as the free shipping threshold has made our vintage simply rock on here. Baseball is nearing completion and the other 3 sports are next on the agenda. Adding to the raw card overhaul is our strong relationship with GAI and in particular Mike Baker, who is the industry's best grader. Mike is personally overseeing our grading and has helped out tremendously with our raw cards as well. With close to 10,000 graded cards in stock, we offer a wide array of cards for those looking for some of the finer things in the hobby .

B: Modern overhaul: This is without a doubt the sickest project in the history of this great hobby. Every product from 1981 to present across all four sports is getting upgraded. An example may be 1998-99 Pacific Omega hockey going from one "3200" count box of product to two "5,000 count" boxes. Simply put, all of our products are on steroids, and that's a very good thing. Our price points are getting lower, selections and quantities are getting bigger, and our orders have never been better. Our new warehouse features shelving that can accommodate 20 million cards without stacking a box, and yes, we intend to fill every last inch!

C: Box overhaul: I'm very excited about this much needed operation as we've hired long time industry expert Randy Franklin to handle all of wax buying and selling. While we've always been known as the source for singles, our box inventory has always been in the background and not as up to date as we'd like. Not anymore as Randy is completely reshaping our inventory with highly competitive pricing, larger quantities, and a selection that puts us into the very top tier of national dealers. Were looking to literally carry 99% of the mainstream products made between 1981 and the present, and Randy's work is truly cut out for him as we stock a staggering amount of product across the four sports.
