Andy began collecting pre-war baseball cards when he purchased his first 1909 T206 card at the
age of 13. He has been Beckett Grading Services Senior Vintage Card Grader for over 4 years and specializes in pre-war U.S. baseball cards and vintage Japanese issued cards.
In 2007, Andy had the privilege of authenticating an example of the most expensive baseball card in the world, a 1909 T206 Honus Wagner card which later sold for a record $317,000.
Andy is the author of “Her Curves Were Too Much For Them,” the story of Jackie Mitchell, the teen girl that struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
He has been featured on Fox Sports “Amazing Sports Stories” and portions of his collection have been featured on the PBS program “Antiques Roadshow.”He enjoys collecting Chattanooga minor league baseball memorabilia, Vintage Japanese baseball cards, original comic art and autographs.

Dan serves not only as the Sr. Market Analyst for Beckett Football, but he also oversees the day-to-day management of the entire price guide department as Sr. Manager of Sports Data Publishing. Dan’s football card expertise is rivaled by few in the industry, and his love of the Dallas Cowboys is second to none. Dan collects vintage football cards, photos, and programs. Dan gained valuable hobby experience throughout most of the 1980s working at a local card shop and joined the Beckett staff in 1991.

With more than 27 years of hobby experience (including 11 at Beckett), Bill leads our group of hobby experts. In addition to his extensive hobby knowledge (specifically football and hockey), Bill also brings a strong background in SQL databases, which has helped Beckett develop the largest and most extensive sports card database in the industry. Bill is a graduate of Purdue University, a proud Eagle Scout, and enjoys collecting coins, driving antique convertibles, and going on cruises.

A graduate of Fordham University, Brian is our resident modern era baseball expert. In his spare time, Brian likes to collect Fordham memorabilia and vintage baseball cards and is active in the through-the-mail autograph hobby. Brian started collecting cards at the age of 6 and has been a part of the hobby ever since. His favorite sports teams include the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. Brian is also one of a handful of soccer fans roaming around the Beckett Media HQ on any given day.
