1995 Crown Jewels Sapphire

The Crown Jewels Sapphire cards are an embossed parallel of the 80-card Ruby base set. Sapphire sets were available through the Gemstones interactive redemption game. Collectors who found the 11 letters that spelled C-R-O-W-N J-E-W-E-L-S were able to send those letters in for one of the 2,500 Sapphire sets. Each Sapphire set came in a felt-lined black "Jewel" box. The game expired March 31, 1996.
